Proposed Strip Club and City in Confidential Mediation (See Letter)
Here is the latest on what is going on with the proposed strip club on
Airport Rd.
A hearing in federal court on the ownership of Trident Operations was
scheduled for Feb. 6. Dana Matthews,
attorney for the strip club, filed a motion of continuance, which was granted.
Many people have asked for correspondence between the City of Destin and
the proposed strip club, but there has been nothing new since January
20th. The city and the proposed strip
club have been in mediation, but those records are confidential.
Please contact city council and let them know that we DO NOT WANT A STRIP CLUB
in Destin. You can send e-mails to

will be received by all members of city council.
We must continue to voice our opposition to a strip club in our community!
