TONIGHT READ THE WORD AND PRAY FOR ELECTION OF THE NEW CITY COUNCILMEN OF DESTIN

Tonight please pray for tomorrow's election of new city council
members. May the Lord winnow out any that are not true to the claims that they are against a strip club. Please read the Word tonight before voting... The Lord's word is sharp and powerful, like a sword, able to discern light from dark, good from evil, and the thoughts and intentions of of the hearts men (and women) even unto the separation of bone and marrow.
"Let Me count the votes."

Proposed Strip Club and City in Confidential Mediation (See Letter)

Fellow Citizens,

Here is the latest on what is going on with the proposed strip club on Airport Rd.

A hearing in federal court on the ownership of Trident Operations was scheduled for Feb. 6.  Dana Matthews, attorney for the strip club, filed a motion of continuance, which was granted.

Many people have asked for correspondence between the City of Destin and the proposed strip club, but there has been nothing new since January 20th.  The city and the proposed strip club have been in mediation, but those records are confidential.

Please contact city council and let them know that we DO NOT WANT A STRIP CLUB in Destin.  You can send e-mails to council@cityofdestin.com.  Your message will be received by all members of city council.

We must continue to voice our opposition to a strip club in our community!
